Redfield is also proud to stand at stud one of the outstanding products of our breeding program – Maximus. Max is bay, 16’1 hand German stallion by Mynos out of Coralee (by Cor de la Bryère).

Redfield’s mares and foals are under the excellent care and supervision of our full time staff that lives on the Ocala farm. The babies are raised on the farm and handled daily. They are segregated into groups according to sex when they're yearlings and agreeability between the individual babies. All are cared for by our veterinarian, Dr. Maria Cardario, whose specialty and concentration is reproduction. Many of our youngsters and some broodmares are offered for sale. Visit our For Sale page for more details.
Our mares foal out at McDuffee Quarter Horses (www. mcdufeequarterhorses.com). McDuffee’s is a complete breeding/reproduction facility owned by Don & Brenda McDuffee and managed by Rex Amos. Located just down the road from Redfield, McDuffee’s provides outstanding foaling care for our mares. When each mare is nearing her foaling date, she is sent to McDuffee’s for 24/7 foaling care. Once the foal is delivered, the duo stays at McDuffee’s for approximately 3 days while the foal receives antibiotics and blood tests are run to ensure our babies are completely healthy before returning to Redfield. When they return to Redfield, they stay in our 14x14 stalls and are turned out individually with their mom. Once they are comfortable and strong, they are introduced to other mares and foals in the field.
Outside mares accepted. Please contact for details.
