Michelle Spadone
Michelle
and Melisimo, a Dutch Warmblood mare, won the RMI Raleigh-UNC Health Care
Benefit Grand Prix in Raleigh, NC in November 2006. They also placed in
several other Grand Prix's in 2006. In 2007, the pair has had continued
success including 6th place in the Middlesex Grand Prix in June, 4th place
in the Showday National Grand Prix at Culpeper in July, and 4th place
in the NY Horse & Pony Grand Prix at Saugerties in August.
R Mable KZ is currently leading the country in the Amateur Owner Jumper
division (as of Oct 2007). Michelle and Mable's placing this year include:
- 1st - A/O Jumper Classic (Level 7) at Ocala Tournament in March
- 1st - A/O Jumper Classic (Level 8) Show Jumping Hall of Fame Class at Tampa Tournament of Champions in April
- 1st - A/O Jumper Championship Match (Level 7) at Saugerties HITS III in June
- 1st - A/O (Level 7) at Culpeper Cavalier Classic in July
- 2nd - A/O (Level 6) at NY Horse & Pony in August
- 1st & 2nd - A/O (Level 7) at Culpeper Constitution Classic in August
Tulip, a Hessischer mare named for the unique Tulip shape on her face,
and Michelle were 1st in the Amateur Owner Jumpers (Level 6) at Ocala
Tournament in March.
